Preston W Bair

Preston W. Bair, 52, of Coshocton, passed away peacefully at Coshocton County Memorial Hospital on Friday January 29, 2016 with his loving family by his side.

Preston was born in Canton, Ohio on March 20, 1963 to the late Paul W. and Shirley (Arnold) Bair.

He graduated from Canton McKinley High School and The University of Akron.  He was a CPA, past treasurer of Big Brothers Big Sisters, member of MENSA, past member of the Coshocton Rotary Club and enjoyed helping with the Salvation Army Christmas Castle Program in Coshocton.  He loved spending his time with his son and daughter, playing with and watching his son play tennis, traveling with his children, especially to watch professional hockey games.

Preston is survived by his son Preston W. “P.J.” Bair Jr. of Coshocton; daughter Peyton E. Bair of Coshocton; friend and former spouse Amie Bair-Hyust of Coshocton; two brothers Paul W. (Donna) Bair III of Evansville, IN and Payne W. (Mary) Bair of Round Rock, TX; a nephew Steven; niece Emily; his two feline companions Carmel and Cato.  He is also preceded in death by his favorite feline companion Cody.

Preston’s family would especially like to thank Dr. Gary Carver for his exceptional care of Preston, most of all for his “Full Court Press.”

Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Wednesday February 3, 2016 from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM.  A private family funeral service will take place at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Salvation Army Christmas Castle Program, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
