Reta Dean (Cozmyk) Hunt, 63, of Warsaw, Ohio passed away in her home on Sunday, November 9th.
She was gently received into the arms of her Lord while surrounded by her loving family and friends. Originally from Delbarton, West Virginia, Reta graduated from Burch High School in 1969. She was an avid reader, enjoyed the outdoors and loved riding and showing horses. Most recently she was a volleyball statistician for her granddaughter’s volleyball teams, and adored being “Mawmaw” to all her grandchildren.
Reta was preceded in death by her husband, John Hunt, Jr. She is survived by her children, John “Buster” Hunt of New Palestine, OH; Charity (Andrew) Kiefner of Warsaw, OH; and Chasity (Chad) Miller of Dublin, OH; her grandchildren, Skyler Hunt, Kirsten Kiefner and Ethan Hunt; her brothers, Roger (Helen) Cozmyk of Ontario, CA; Tyrone Cozmyk of West Union, OH; Aaron Jon (Dorothy) Cozmyk of Delbarton, WV; Michael (Toni) Cozmyk of Norwalk, OH; Alan (Doris) Cozmyk of Pickerington, OH; seven nieces and nephews; 14 great-nieces and nephews; and many very special friends.
In lieu of calling hours and a funeral, Reta’s wish was for a Celebration of Life. All her family, friends and those who wish to help us commemorate Reta’s life are invited to gather at Riverfront Lounge in Coshocton on Sat., November 22nd at 6:30 PM for an outdoor memorial, followed by an evening of joy and celebration in Reta’s honor.
Anyone wishing to make a contribution in Reta’s name may do so to Health Services of Coshocton County “Hospice”, P.O. Box 1284, Coshocton, Ohio 43812, to whom we give many thanks for the blessing of their services.
