Richard "Steve" Steven Nolan

Richard “Steve” Nolan, 72, of West Lafayette passed away Thursday, January 25, 2024 at his home surrounded by his family.  He was born in Zanesville, OH on July 12, 1951 to the late Charles and Della (Blackstone) Nolan.

Steve attended John Glenn High School but received his high school diploma from the United States Navy while being enlisted during the Vietnam War. After his time in the Navy, he worked in maintenance for College Park for 15 years and RHDD for 35 years. He was the Past President and Assistant Scout Master for Boy Scouts of America Troop 419 for more than 20 years. He enjoyed fishing and camping in his free time.

Steve is survived by his children, Carol Roahrig of Plainfield, OH, Gary (Sara) Bradford of Copley, OH, Elly Nolan Elerick of Cambridge, OH, Kathy (Jason) Brown of Stow, OH, Tammy Engle of Cambridge, OH, Jason (Andy) Bradford of Toledo, OH, and Charles (Jessica) Nolan of Warsaw, OH; grandson Brayden Nolan, along with 19 additional grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; one great great grandchild; siblings Connie (Steve) Embry, Sandy Crawford, Debbie Wickham, and Randy “Joe” Nolan; Special friend Kay Shaw; and close friends Rodney Anderson and Bryan Lanzer.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Linda (Ashley) Nolan, who passed June 17, 2019; daughter Angie Nolan; son Michael Bradford; great granddaughter Rosalie Smith; and brothers William “Bill” and Tim Nolan.

Friends may call at the Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main Street, Coshocton, OH 43812 on Saturday, February 3, 2024 from 10:00am – 1:00pm with funeral services beginning at 1:00pm with Pastor AC Dockery officiating. Burial will follow at Fairfield Cemetery, West Lafayette, where the Coshocton County Honor Guard will be performing military honors.
