Robert (Bob) Kubala, 63, passed away at his residence in Fresno on Wednesday, November 20, 2013.
Bob was born in Trenton, NJ, on October 26, 1950 to the late Anthony and Rose Kubala. He grew up and attended school in Hamilton, NJ and spent many summers fishing with his Dad at the Jersey Shore. He graduated from Trenton State College in Trenton, NJ with a Social Sciences teaching degree. He then went on to Columbia Chiropractic College in New York City graduating with the degree of Chiropractic Physician. He maintained a chiropractic office in Hamilton, NJ for 30 years, touching many, many patients’ lives with both his healing hands and his generous spirit.
In September 2000, he happily ended his bachelorhood when he married the love of his life, Amy, who survives. After marriage Bob and Amy desired to re-establish their lives in a small community and moved to Coshocton County in 2006. Bob had semi-retired from chiropractic and was an active volunteer in the community, first volunteering for CCMH visiting residents in the Extended Care Unit and the last two years as a Hospice Volunteer with his faithful little companion Snickers who served as a Hospice of Coshocton’s Therapy Dog. Bob and Snickers made many visits to area Hospice patients. Bob is also survived by Amy’s daughters Stacy Myer and her husband Jarret of Miami Beach, FL and their two sons Nash and Remsen and Katie Bell of New York, NY. He is also survived by several cousins and relatives in New Jersey and his “adopted” Mom, Virginia Hazelip who now resides in Florida.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Anthony Kubala Jr.
Bob loved his family, his community, his church, the many patients he treated over the years and he loved his country. Bob was steadfast in his faith and described his real birthday as his spiritual rebirth on April 28, 1979 when he was baptized in Jesus name and was filled with the baptism of the Holy Ghost. He has taught many Bible studies and ministered to many people through the years.
