ELKMONT, AL: Robert E. "Rob" Timmons, 28, of Elkmont, AL formerly of West Lafayette, Ohio passed away in Athens, AL on February 16, 2012.

Rob was born in Coshocton on September 29, 1983 to Eugene Richard and Linda Mae Timmons. He served in the US Army in Korea and Iraq. He loved to play cards, one game in particular "Magic" and enjoyed helping with youth baseball.

Survived by his wife, Carol Timmons; father, Eugene Richard Timmons of West Lafayette; sister, Jessica (Brink) Beighley of Athens, AL; nephew, Carson Beighley; grandmother, Thelma Timmons of West Lafayette.

Rob is preceded in death by his mother, Linda Mae Timmons.

Friends and family may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Friday February 24, 2012 from 12-2 p.m., interment of Rob's cremated remains will follow in Fairfield Cemetery, West Lafayette.
