Robert "Bob" W. Porth

December 16, 1955 — March 19, 2022

Robert W. “Bob” Porth, 66, of Coshocton passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at his home with his family by his side.

Bob was born in Moberly, Missouri on December 16, 1955, to the late Wendell A. and Peggy (Brady) Porth.  He began his career working for Peabody Coal Company and retired from the AEP Wash Plant in Conesville.

On July 4, 1976 he married Susan (Phillips) Porth, he was a devoted husband who thought the world of his wife. He was a great listener and advisor to his daughters and ornery, supportive and loving grandpa and uncle. He was undoubtfully a family man who enjoyed spending time with those he loved most. If Bob wasn’t camping or fishing, then he was working in his garage on his cars or latest project. He took pride in his grandchildren and was always supporting them in everything they did. He was loved by many who were lucky enough to know him and will be greatly missed.

Bob is survived by his wife Susan Porth; two daughters Lori (Jamie) Shaw and Jody (Jason) Williams both of Coshocton; grandchildren Kindall and Colin Shaw, Caley (Isaac) Song, Joshua, Janee, Justin and James Williams; great grandchildren Asher and Olive; one sister Wendy (Lyle) Wikoff of AZ as well as several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 from 4pm to 6pm.

Entombment of Bob’s cremated remains will take place at a later date in South Lawn Cemetery.
