Roger Lee Bradford

Roger Lee Bradford, 71, of Warsaw passed away Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Morrison Hospice House in Zanesville. He was born in Zanesville on September 25, 1945 to the late Bruce and Mildred (Fife) Bradford.

Roger was a 1963 graduate of John Glenn High School. He was a member of Perry Chapel Baptist Church and the NRA.  He worked for General Electric for 10 years and for AT&T, as a cable repairman, for 37 years before retiring.  Roger was a wonderful steward of the land, he loved hunting, gardening, and he took great pride in his yard.  He also loved watching his grandkids’ sporting events and spending time with his family.

Roger is survived by his wife of 52 years, Carol (Hughes) Bradford; children Thomas Bradford of Zanesville, Timothy (Lori) Bradford of Heath, and Christy Vickers of Warsaw; grandchildren Mason Bradford, Joshua and Elizabeth Bradford, and Sarah, Samuel, and William Vickers; sisters Marilyn Mulligan of Middletown, Ohio, Adaleen Eck of Zanesville, Ohio, and Beverly (Frank) Croy of West Lafayette, Ohio; brother Ronald (Nancy) Bradford of West Lafayette, Ohio; brother-in-law Richard (Marti) Hughes of New Concord, Ohio; sister-in-law Margaret Hughes of Westland, Michigan; and several nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, Roger is preceded in death by his brothers Donald and Dana Bradford and his father-in-law and mother-in-law Harold and Clara Hughes.

Friends may call at the Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton, OH 43812 on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 from 6:00PM –8:00PM and one hour prior to the funeral service.  Funeral services for Roger will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11:00AM with Pastor Dave Fowls officiating. Burial will follow at Otsego First Baptist Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Perry Chapel Baptist Church, Perry Township Road 380, Warsaw, OH 43844. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
