Roger Thomas

Roger Thomas, 76, of Coshocton passed away on June 27, 2023 OSU Medical Center. He was born on November 18, 1946 to the late Nobel Thomas and Edith (Dickerson) Untied. On June 29, 1985, he married Gwen (Maurer) who survives. He was a very handy mechanic. He worked at Coshocton Break and Supply as a mechanic for over 40 years. He also worked on cars in his free time as well. His son, Roger Thomas Jr. restored a 1950 Chevy Pick Up truck that he was very proud of. He took the truck to shows, winning many awards, which he proudly displayed.

Along with his wife, Roger is survived by his children, Tessa Thomas of Columbus and Roger (Sheila) Thomas Jr. of Coshocton; grandchildren, Tara (Kenny) Drennen, Tyson (Meghan) Henry, Tristan Henry, Erika Grigsby, Madison O’Neal, Ashley (Chris) Brown, Rachel (Ben) Adams, Shelby Thomas, Tiffany Wheeler and Allen Wright as well as 15 great grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild.

Preceding him in death are his parents and step-father, Charles Untied and siblings, Richard Thomas, David Thomas, and Carole Rhodes.

Calling hours will be at The Miller Funeral Home on Monday July 3, from 10am to 11am. The funeral service will be at the funeral home at 11am with Evangelist Sheldon Mencer officiating. Burial will follow at Coshocton County Memory Gardens.
