Roger Keith Williams, 68, of Coshocton passed away at Licking Memorial Hospital Emergency Room on Monday September 26, 2016 after a brief illness.
Roger was born in Zanesville on September 24, 1948 to Glenn and Irene (Mitchell) Williams.
He graduated from Philo High School, served in the U.S. Army and graduated from Malone University with a Masters Degree in Business Administration.
Throughout his life he worked for Ansel Edmonts in Coshocton, The Longaberger Company, Rolls Royce in Mt. Vernon, Ansel Perry in Massillon, Coshocton County Memorial Hospital and was currently employed with the Ohio Central Railroad in Coshocton. Roger also completed tax returns for many families over the years.
Roger loved playing golf with his family and friends and enjoyed watching football.
He is survived by his wife Ramona M. (Wright) Williams; his mother Irene Kuntz of Philo; four sons Rick K. (April) Williams of Coshocton, Mick D. (Tina) Williams of Conesville, Nick C. (Bethany) Williams of Cambridge and Mark A. (Jody) Williams of Nellie; two sisters Karen (John) Bash of Norwich and Karista (Jody) Jasper of Zanesville; one brother Gary Williams of Philo; step-children Chris (Andrea) Guilliams of Dublin and Troy (Shelly) Guilliams of Powell ;grandchildren Trent, Keaton, Allison, Emily, Julian, Julias, Lexi and Leah Williams; step grandchildren Ava, Griffin, Owen and Quinn Guilliams, Dominic and Donavan Rice; several nieces and nephews.
Roger is preceded in death by his father Glenn Williams and a grandson Chance M. Williams.
Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Friday September 30, 2016 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM and one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 1:00 PM with Pastor Mark Stinson officiating. Coshocton County Veterans Honor Guard will also be performing military honors at the funeral home at 1:00 PM.
A cremation will take place after funeral services.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Alzheimer’s Association, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
