Ronnie Murray, 71, of Coshocton passed away at his daughters residence on Monday March 16, 2015 . Ronnie was born in Coshocton on March 18, 1943 to the late Harold Murray Sr. and Gertrude (Reddick) Murray.
He attended Coshocton High School and had retired from Penn-Michigan. Ronnie was an avid John Wayne Fan.
He is survived by his three children Ronnie “Dale” Murray Jr. of Coshocton, Scotty Lee (Jane) Murray of Marblehead and Amy (Travis) Schumaker of Coshocton; grandchildren Michael, Breanna, Phylicia, and Gage Murray, Christina, Chelsea, and Christopher Schumaker; great grandchildren Zoey Arnold and Ava Tester; five sisters Ethel Carpenter of Wilmont, Ohio, Edith Mourer of Warren, Ohio, Polly Allen of Warsaw, Caroline Miller and Charlotte Miller both of Coshocton; one brother Tom Murray of Coshocton; several nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers Harold Jr., David, William, Arthur and agreat granddaughter Ema Tester.
A memorial service will be held at Burt Ave. Wesleyan Church, 230 Burt Ave., Coshocton on Friday March 20, 2015 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Rod Uhlig officiating. Calling hours will be prior to the service from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM.
Interment of Ronnie’s cremated remains will take place at a later date in South Lawn Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be directed to The Miller Funeral Home, to help defray funeral expenses.
