Rose Mary Dunfee

Rose Mary Dunfee, age 96, passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at Lafayette Pointe. She was born on March 25, 1926 in Newcomerstown to the late Ralph and Mabel (Dreher) Bowers. She was a graduate of Ridgewood High School. She married Durwood “Bill” Dunfee, who passed away in 2002. Rose Mary liked making crafts and woodworking. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and fishing together. She will be missed for her smile, her heart and her generosity.

Rose Mary is survived by her daughter, Sonja Sondles of Millersburg; grandchildren, Dana (Sandy) Cheney of Coshocton and Shelly (Troy) Gamertsfelder of Millersburg; great- grandchildren, Travis Cheney, Nathan Cheney and Morgan (Korey) Kelling; great great-grandchildren, Kaine, and Nova Kelling.

Along with her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her step-son, Jerry Dunfee and siblings, Marilyn and Jayne Elson.

A cremation will take place with the Miller-Kaser Cremation Service. A graveside service will be on Friday, August 26, 2022 at 2pm at the South Lawn Cemetery with Pastor William Meaige officiating.
