Roy J. Eacott Jr., 78, of West Lafayette passed away Friday January 15, 2016 at his home.
He was born in Parma, Ohio on December 20, 1937 to the late Roy Eacott Sr. and Selina (Zabel) Eacott.
Roy served in the United States Army Barq Division as an E-4. He was a Renaissance Man, a welder, loved attending flea markets and owned a pet store in Valley City.
Roy is survived by his children Becky (John) Carroll of Cleveland, John (Elaine) Eacott of Mantua, OH, and Calvin Eacott of Cleveland; five grandchildren; sisters Fern Hunt and Carol Eacott; nephew Tom (Cynthia) Nelson; friends Larry (Cheryl) Rehard, Frank (Jean) Sharier, Amber (Ryan) Reynolds and their four children, Roxann (Jim) McCann and several nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, Roy is preceded in death by his sister Bettie Nelson.
Per Roy’s wishes there will be no services and a cremation will take place.
