Roy Krasky

Roy W. Krasky, 71, of Coshocton passed away Monday, March 24, 2025 at his home. He was born in Coshocton, OH on May 5, 1953 to the late Francis and Evelyn (Bridges) Krasky.

Roy's career took him on various paths, co-owning the beloved West Lafayette Village Pizza Shop and was the founder/operator of Krasco Baskets, and Krasco Customs, working with local businesses such as Kurz-Kasch, Jones Metal, Kahouns Kabinets, AK Steel, Designer Stone and North Star Metals. He was not just a dedicated worker but also a passionate volunteer at the West Lafayette Fire Department, embodying the spirit of community and service. His zest for life took him outdoors, where he cherished fishing, woodworking, tinkering with tractors, playing music, and nurturing his beautiful garden.

Roy is survived by his wife of 31 years, Sheila (Boatman) Krasky; children Angela (Terry Rahn) Krasky, Brian (Stephanie) Krasky, Matthew (Meghan) Krasky, and grandchildren Jacob and Gatlin Krasky; mother-in-law Carol Guthrie; siblings Millie Stubbs, Joe Krasky, Greg Krasky, Gloria Medina, and Thomas Krasky; brothers and sisters-in-law Cindy (Ed) French, Roger (Kris) Boatman, Debbie (Terry) Bevins, Jonna Crisp & JJ Boatman; previous wife and mother to Angela and Brian, Jackie Krasky; and several nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his brothers John L. and Dennis Krasky; father-in-law Jack Gutherie; grandson Tyler Wright; and niece Nikkalee Boatman.

Calling hours will be held at the Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St. Coshocton, OH 43812 on Friday, March 28, 2025 from 11:00am -1:00pm with funeral services beginning at 1:00pm with Pastor Tim Dickerson officiating. Burial will follow at South Lawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be directed towards Miller Funeral Home to help Defray funeral expenses.
