Roy Matthews

Roy Matthews, age 47, of Coshocton passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at his home. He was born on January 26, 1977 in Coshocton to the late Ralph and Mary Lou (Kling) Matthews. He was a graduate of the Coshocton County JVS and graduated with his underwater welding certificate. He put his skills to use, working locally as a laborer. On June 14, 1996, he married his soulmate, Angela (Miller) Matthews, who survives. Roy loved to be outside whether it was hunting, fishing or driving his four-wheeler. He enjoyed playing in pool leagues and golfing with his uncles and nephews. Above all, he cherished his time with his family and watching his grandchildren play softball.

Along with his wife, he is survived by his children, David (Larissa) Miller of Coshocton, Brittney Miller of Wilmington, NC. And Brandon Miller of Massillon; grandchildren, Alexia and Alleah; brother, Harold Matthews and special family members, Andy (Tara) Matthews, Maddy, Chip and Jimmy Matthews and Mileena Studer.

A cremation will take place with the Miller Funeral Home and Crematory.
