Russell "Russ" Grudier

June 8, 1937 — July 8, 2024

Russell “Russ” F. Grudier Jr., 87, of Coshocton, passed away Monday, July 8, 2024 at his home.  He was born in Cambridge on June 8, 1937 to the late Russell F. Sr. and Phebe (Colburn) Grudier.

Russ graduated from Cambridge High School and served in the National Guard. He worked as an Insurance adjuster and claims specialist for Motorist Mutual Insurance Company for 34 years. Russ was a Master Mason and served as a Past District Deputy Grand Master of the 19th Masonic District 1991- 1993, 32nd degree, and received his 50 year pin. He was a member of the Coshocton REACT since 1975, City council, and loved riding his motorcycle and has ridden in all 48 states.

Russell is survived by his companion, Martha Stillion; children Carole (Mike) Jennings of Cumberland, Russell “Rusty” (Lita) Grudier of Warsaw, and David (Christy) Grudier of Coshocton; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Joan M. (Farrar) Grudier, and sister Carol Jones.

A Memorial service will be held at the Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton, OH 43812 on Saturday, July 13, 2024 from 10:00am – 12:00pm with funeral services beginning at 12:00 with Pastor Mike Jansen officiating.
