Ruth E Addy

Ruth E. Addy, 88, of Fresno, passed away at Coshocton County Memorial Hospital on Monday November 25, 2013.

Ruth was born to the late Perry and Mary (Little) Haver and she was raised by the late Elva and Martha Little.  Ruth graduated from Newcomerstown High School in 1942.  She did home nursing, drove school bus for both Hopewell Schools and River View Schools for 25 years.  She was a life member of the Church of Christ in Newcomerstown and Second St. Church of Christ in Coshocton.  Ruth raised Angora Goats for 14 years, enjoyed cooking, flowers and tending to her garden.

Ruth is survived by her adopted son Shawn Moore of Fresno; special nephew Stanley Addy of Coshocton; special niece Susan Addy of Newcomerstown; many other nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Robert “Bob” Addy who passed away on December 17, 2010, Ruth and Bob were married for 63 years; a sister Geneva; brothers Raymond, Earl and Paul Haver.

Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Friday November 29, 2013 from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.  Funeral services for Ruth will be at the funeral home on Saturday at 11:00 AM with Pastor Mark Granger officiating.  Interment will follow in Coshocton County Memorial Gardens.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Health Services of Coshocton County “Hospice”, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
