Ruth G. Zimmer, 92, of West Lafayette passed away at Autumn Healthcare in Coshocton on Monday February 24, 2014.
Ruth was born in Coshocton, Ohio on June 20, 1921 to the late Budd and Edna (Guthrie) Guthrie. She graduated from Keene High School, worked for Judge Ross Probate Court and was a member of the West Lafayette Methodist Church.
Ruth is survived by her children David M. Zimmer of West Layette and Ellen A. (Jerry) Thomas of Coshocton; grandchildren Jeff (Tammy) Zimmer of West Lafayette and Jeremy (Megan) Thomas of Indianapolis, IN; great grandchildren Alexis, Logan, Sophia and Adalyn; brother Donald Guthrie of Millersburg.
Ruth is preceded in death by her husband Clyde Zimmer whom she married in 1944 and Brother Adrian Guthrie.
Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main Street, Coshocton on Saturday March 1, 2014 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM with funeral services beginning at1:00 PM with Pastor Sue Chidley officiating. Interment will follow in Fairfield Cemetery, West Lafayette.
