Sandra S. “Sandy” Klotz, 74, of West Lafayette passed away unexpectedly at her Florida home on Sunday January 1, 2017.
Sandy, known as “Cookie” to her family and friends growing up, was born in Glenmont, Ohio on October 4, 1942 to the late Robert and Eva Elizabeth (Wilson) Snyder.
She graduated from Millersburg High School and married Albert “Al” Klotz on August 15, 1965; Al preceded Sandy in death on October 25, 2006. She was a member of Central Christian Church in Coshocton. In her early years she was an avid bowler, but her true hobbies were reading, crocheting, and going to several craft shows a year, she had already had many scheduled for this fall. Sandy’s laugh was contagious and you couldn’t help but to laugh with her. She was so loved by her great-grandchildren they would run into her arms every time they saw her.
Sandy is survived by her daughter Kimberly K. (Robin) Jones of West Lafayette; two grandchildren Michael A. (Amanda) Jones and Tammie (Matt) Hanna; great grandchildren Jameson Parker Hanna and Emmarie Hanna; one sister Connie (Keith) Mellor; five brothers Gary (Karen) Snyder, David (Lou) Snyder, Mike (Linda) Snyder, Lynn (Sandy) Snyder and Richard Snyder; sister in law Shirley Klotz and several nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her two sons Steven and Mark Klotz; one brother Bobby Snyder and a brother in law Norman Klotz.
Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Sunday January 8, 2017 from 12:00 PM -2:00 PM where a funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM with Rev. Philip Hunt officiating. Burial will follow in Fairfield Cemetery, West Lafayette.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Coshocton County Animal Shelter, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
