Sarah A. Jenkins, 65, of Coshocton passed away at Grant Medical Center on Thursday January 16, 2014.
Sarah was born to David and Elizabeth (Gee) Drake in Woodhull, New York on March 25, 1948.
She graduated from Roberts Wesleyan College, was a coordinator for outpatient rehabilitation, secretary for the National Church, Treasurer and President of Women’s association, member of Coshocton Elks Lodge, she also loved to play the organ and sing.
Sarah is survived by her husband Rev. John Jenkins who she married August 30, 1997; one daughter Bethany (Paul) Jackomin; son Edward Gee; mother Elizabeth Drake; two grandchildren Jackie Rachal and Kendra Jackomin; brothers Paul (Nell) Drake; Ronald (Ann) Drake; three sisters Linda Lindstrom, Naomi Drake, and Dawn (Kevin) O’Grady; several nieces and nephews. Sarah is preceded in death by her father David and daughter Elaine Rachal.
Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., on Monday January 20, 2014 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 805 Main St., Coshocton on Tuesday at 10:30 AM with Father William Hristko officiating. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Coshocton. Memorial contributions may be directed to Sacred Heart School, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
