Sharen L Kukla

Sharen Lee Kukla, 72, of Warsaw, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Thursday March 15, 2018 at The Ohio State University Hospital James Cancer Center. She was born in Glenwood Springs, Colorado on May 7, 1945 to the late John E. and Helen (Pierce) Steele.

She attended New Castle Schools in New Castle Colorado and graduated in 1963. After graduation she lived in Colorado and then in 1967 she moved to Soda Springs, Idaho where she married, Randy Kunz (divorced). They had one daughter, Cydni, born in 1974. In 1979 Sharen moved to Alaska and married Alan Kukla. They lived in Alaska for 31 years before moving to Ohio in 2010. Sharen has worked for many different places in her life, including: dental assistant, Wheeler Chevrolet, Monsanto Company, Beker Industries, and the Salvation Army. She was also a 911 dispatcher for the Chugiak Volunteer Fire Department in Alaska.

Sharen is survived by her faithful husband, Alan F. Kukla, whom she married March 27, 1980; daughter Cydni (Tom) Crain of South Carolina; grandchildren Ashton and Hayden Crain; sisters Mickey Ridgway of Ontario, California, twin sister Karen Mall of Chugiak, Alaska; multiple nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Along with her parents, John and Helen Steele, she is preceded in death by a brother, Jack Steele; four sisters, Martha Jean Steele, Pauline Petrocco, Nellie Stark, and Jeanne Hoffmiester.

A celebration of life will be held at the Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton, Ohio 43812 on Saturday, March 24, 2018 from 10:30 am - 11:00am with funeral services beginning at 11:00am with Pastor Joel Mason officiating.
