Shirley M. Scheetz, 74 of Coshocton passed away at Good Samaritan Hospital in Zanesville on Friday March 9, 2012. Shirley was born in Cooperdale, Ohio on May 25, 1937 to the late Carl E. and Minnie K (Layland) Mullet. She graduated from Roscoe High School in 1956 and was a member of The Presbyterian Church of Coshocton. Shirley had worked at Thomas's Steakhouse, Buehlers and Old Warehouse in Roscoe as a server and hostess throughout her life. She is survived by her husband Bernard F. Scheetz whom she married on June 3, 1956; two daughters Deborah K. (Alan) Todd and Katherine L. (Bob) Raber both of Coshocton; half brother Vaughn (Nancy) Mullet of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren Nicole and Michael Todd, Melissa K. (Adam) Davis and Ryan Raber. Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Sunday March 11, 2012 from 2-5 PM and one hour prior to the service on Monday at the church. Funeral services for Shirley will be held in the Custer Chapel at The Presbyterian Church, 142 N. 4th St., Coshocton on Monday at 11:00 with Rev. Jonathan Carlisle and Rev. Robert Millspaugh officiating. Interment will follow in Coshocton County Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to The Presbyterian Church Abiding Fund, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
