Shirley Eunice (Claypool) Smith

Shirley E. Smith, 75, of Coshocton passed away Sunday, July 17, 2022 at her home.  She was born in Geneva, Ohio on March 8, 1947 to the late Thomas and Lucy (Gregory) Claypool.

Shirley graduated from High School in Riverside, CA and worked for Ohio Heritage Bank for 10 years.  She enjoyed quilting, sewing, riding motorcycles, cooking, and spending time with her family.

Shirley is survived by her husband, Herbert “Bud” Smith; children Charlie (Donna) Kendall of Tennessee, David (Tina) Kendall of Texas, Butch (Julie) Smith of Coshocton, Pam (Ronnie) Wilson of London, Ohio, Robin (Mike) Walters of Coshocton, and Patty (David) Roof of Coshocton; 13 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and sister Carolyn Shreve of Warren, PA.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her five siblings.

Per Shirley’s wishes services will be private and a cremation is taking place.
