Shirley J. Thomas

Shirley J. Thomas, 81, of Conesville passed away Sunday, November 26, 2017 at Ohio State Wexner Medical Center in Columbus. She was born in Muskingum County on December 30, 1935 to the late Burvil and Mabel (Hanks) Lapp.
Shirley was a devoted farm wife to her husband of 62 years, Jerry Thomas. She will be greatly missed by her six children Terri (Lynn) Mullett of Warsaw, Toni (Danny) Markley of Coshocton, Tami (Rick) Mullett of Conesville, Tori (Marty) Dunton of Acme, PA, Trent (Lorrie) Thomas of Rockdale, TX, and Trevor Thomas of Conesville; thirteen grandchildren, Travis (Allyssa) Mullett, Tasha (Seth) Barbour, Raci (Tim) Zimpfer, Rowdi (Marissa) Mullett, Jennifer (Scott) Ruby, Eric (Kyla) Markley, Kimberly (Lance) Brenly, Tyler and Trace Dunton, Ashley (Armando) Briones, Tanner, Tucker, and Terek Thomas; ten great-grandchildren; and two great great- grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother James Lapp.
Friends may call at the Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 from 11:00am-1:00pm with funeral services beginning at 1:00pm. Burial will follow at Coshocton County Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be directed towards donor’s choice in memory of Shirley.
