Theodore "Ted" E. Klusty age 78 of West Lafayette, OH passed away Sunday February 17th, 2013 at the Coshocton Memorial Hospital in Coshocton. He was born July 15th, 1934 in Sharon Township, OH a son of the late William S. and Lorna Wilson Klusty.
Ted served and protected his nation in the US Air Force. He retired after 32 years of service from AK Steel in Coshocton.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Leiendecker Klusty, whom he married April 5th, 1957 and who passed July 7th, 1981; 3 brothers William, Daniel and his twin Tom Klusty.
He was loved and will be missed by his family, 3 daughters Cynthia (Jerry) Shaw of Plainfield, OH, Annette (Jack ) Browning of West Lafayette and Pam (Mike) Nation of Warsaw, OH; 2 sons James (DeeDee) Klusty of West Lafayette and Steve (Billie) Klusty of Newark, OH; 10 Grandchildren; Several Great Grandchildren; 7 Brothers Karol (Jeanette) Klusty of Coshocton, David Klusty, Gerald (Sandy) Klusty of Lancaster, OH, Fred (Marcia) Klusty of Barberton, OH, Ronald (Diane) Klusty of Coshocton, Robert (Julie) Klusty of Columbus, OH and Louis (Kim) Klusty of Sun City, FL; 3 sisters Barbara (Bob) Johnson of Seaford, DE, Margie Newman of Broad Run, VA and Lorna (Kevin) Scanlon of Hilliard, OH; special friend Dave Slay of West Lafayette. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Wednesday February 20th, 2013 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM, where a funeral service will be held Thursday February 21st, 2013 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Jim Lillo officiating. Interment will follow in the Coshocton County Memory Gardens, with military honors performed by the Coshocton County Veterans Honor Guard.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to First Step Family Violence or a charity of your choice, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
