Theresa F (Drisco) Garrett

Theresa F. Garrett, 88, of Coshocton passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at her home. She was born in Plainfield, CT on June 24, 1932 to the late Leo and Priscilla (Gagnon) Drisco.

She was married for 44 years to her husband Dwight, who preceded her in death. She was well known in the area for her volunteer work in several charity organizations including Pink Ladies and Hospice, and served the local Assembly of God church in many ways including multiple years as a Sunday School teacher, Missionette leader, church board member and church leader. She was regarded as a second mother by many whom she mentored over the years, and will be sorely missed by her group of breakfast friends she met with on a regular basis.

Theresa is survived by her children Dwight (Donna) Garrett of Plainfield, CT, Dale (Martha) Garrett of Springfield, MO, and Patti Milhoan of Coshocton, OH; grandchildren Christopher, Stephanie, Wendy, Bethany, Anthony, Jennifer, Holly, Joshua, and Hope; sister Leona (Al) Bissionette; 25 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; and daughter-in-law Nora Garrett.

Along with her parents Theresa is preceded in death by her husband, Dwight Garrett; son David Garrett; sisters Priscilla Olson and Patricia Drisco; and son-in-law David Milhoan.

Per Theresa's wishes a cremation will take place. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at 1:00 PM at the Upper Room Assembly & Worship Center (formerly the First Assembly of God), 803 Vine Street, Coshocton, OH 43812.
