Thomas R Scott

Thomas R. Scott, age 83, of Coshocton, passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 in Byesville. He was born on August 26, 1939 in Chico, California to the late Russell and Rella (DeWitt) Scott. He was a 1957 graduate of Roscoe High School. On May 17, 1959, he married Joyce Ann Scott, who passed away in 2012. He worked at GE in the maintenance department until his retirement. He was very passionate about the outdoors; he loved splitting firewood and his John Deere tractors. He and his wife, Joyce loved to travel to Myrtle Beach and enjoyed everything Elvis.

He is survived by his daughter, Sherri (Zeke Holiday) Scott of Cambridge and son-in-law, James Richesson; grandchildren, Nikki, Justin, Matthew and Zachary; great-grandchild, Rylee; sisters, Linda DeShong and Nora Widder as well as several nieces and nephews.

Thomas is preceded in death by his parents, spouse and children, Terri Richesson and Mark Scott.

A memorial service will be at The Miller Funeral Home on Monday, October 17, 2022 at 5pm with pastor Lloyd Tenney officiating.
