Thomas "Tom" Ratcliff

November 17, 1941 — April 24, 2016

Thomas “Tom” Ratcliff, 74, of Coshocton passed away unexpectantly Sunday April 24, 2016 at Coshocton County Memorial Hospital.  He was born in Welch, West Virginia on November 17, 1941 to the late Woodrow and Margie (Gilkerson) Ratcliff.

Tom was a graduate from Lorain High School, served in the United States Army, and worked at the Ford Motor Company for 44 years before retiring.  He loved hunting, photography, and traveling with his wife of 55 years, Cathy.

Along with his wife, he is survived by his sons Mark Ratcliff of North Ridgeville, OH and Jeff (Kelly) Ratcliff of Tucson, AZ; two grandchildren Amanda and Garrison Ratcliff of Benson, AZ; brother Larry (Judy) Ratcliff of Vermilion, OH; sister Rita Mayer of Vermilion, OH.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his brother David Ratcliff.

Calling hours will be held at Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Home, 3224 Broadway Ave, Lorain, OH 44055 on Thursday April 28, 2016 from 5:00PM – 7:00PM. A memorial service will be held at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Home on Friday at 11:00AM with Pete Banks officiating.

Burial of Tom’s cremated remains will follow at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Lorain, OH, where the North Ridgeville VFW Post 9871 will perform military honors.
