Valenna Carol Arden

January 23, 1939 — October 6, 2018

Valenna Carol Arden, 79, of Coshocton passed away Saturday, October 6, 2018 at her home.  She was born in Columbus, Ohio to the late Lawrence “Larry” Huffman Sr. and Ina (Spencer) Huffman.

Carol was a member of the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church. She enjoyed listening to Gospel Bluegrass music and Clean Air Radio.

She is survived by her husband Curtis R. Arden Sr., whom she married October 8, 1962; sons Dennis and Steve Furguson of Mansfield, Ohio and Curtis Arden Jr. of Warsaw and William “Bill” Arden of Coshocton; grandchildren Eric and Ellen Ferguson of Mansfield, Robbie Roach of Mansfield, Toby (Brian) DeVore of Canal Fulton, Sherri Arden of North Carolina, Kelton, Tiffany, and Aria Arden all of Coshocton; 10 great grandchildren; brothers Lawrence “Larry” Huffman Jr. of Indiana and Robert (Cindy) Huffman of Mansfield; and sister Eileen (Everette) DeVore of Mansfield.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her daughter Sherri Wallace; sister Esther Ferguson; step granddaughter Emily Dahman; and niece Darlisa Huffman.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Carols niece Holly Sharier and Friend Geraldine Lahna for all of the care and support over the last couple years.

Per Carols wishes a cremation will take place and burial of her cremated remains will be held at South Lawn Cemetery on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 11:00am with Geraldine Lahna officiating.
