Vane Marcum

Vane Junior Marcum, 74, of Coshocton passed away Friday, May 14, 2021 at The Ohio State Wexner Medical Center. He was born on August 4, 1946 in Dingess, West Virginia to the late Dora Belle (Dillon) and Bige Marcum. On May 12, 1991, he married Karen (Hart) Marcum, who survives. Vane loved golfing and fishing and enjoyed wood working.

Along with his wife, he is survived by his children, Patty, Tracy, Jennifer and Joanna Marcum, all of Columbus, step- sons, Greg and Troy Fields of Columbus; grandchildren, Ky Marcum, Alexa and Donavan Shoffstall, Jacob Marcum, Zayin Carnes, Gregory, Talan, Cheville and Destinee Fields; brothers, Tom (Diana)  of Florida, Roger (Donna) Marcum of Tennessee and Jack (Betty) Marcum of Ohio; sisters-in-law, Dinah Marcum of West Virginia and Jan Marcum of Ohio; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Ebony.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Edith Marcum and brothers, Rex and Freddie Marcum.

Per his wishes a cremation will take place with no service. The Miller-Kaser Cremation Services will be assisting the family.
