Velma M Klingler

January 10, 1927 — June 6, 2020

Velma Malee Klingler, of Spring Hill, Florida, departed earth June 6th, 2020.

Velma sprouted into life on January 10th, 1927, in Danville, Ohio, to James Bickel and Blanche (Warner-Bickel) Tish.  She grew in Warsaw, Ohio, with 1 brother, 3 half-brothers, and 2 half-sisters.  After graduating from Warsaw High School, Class of 1944, Velma began to bud.  She shared many of life's ups and downs with her cousin and best friend, Mary Ann Roller.

Velma rooted herself in Coshocton, Ohio, where she shared her talents as a Mixologist.  She met David Klingler at Mickey's in 1984.  An exciting night of dancing began a 2 year courtship.  David and Velma decided to graft their lives together on May 4th, 1986.

Velma was a devoted wife to David for 34 wonderful years.  Velma bloomed in the love she and David shared.  Some of their favorite activities together include ball room dancing, gardening, and just being outside together.  Both active members at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Coshocton, Ohio.  Velma enjoyed singing in the church choir and making homemade noodles for the church bizarre.  They celebrated their love of pets, first sharing their lives with Pepper, then Muffin and Chante'.

Velma was loved by her family.  She was blessed with - 5 Children: Tammy Carpenter, Richard Klingler, Susan Workman (husband - Jesse),  David Klingler (wife - Kelly), and Sheri Gardner (husband -Chuck).   7 Grandchildren: Richie Klingler (wife - Samantha), Chris Klingler, Jessica Longoria (husband - Joshua), Amy Anderson (husband - Josh), Mike Klingler (wife - Julie), Brendan Gardner, and Tyler Duff.  5 Great-Grandchildren: Maggie Klingler, Delaney Longoria, Morgan Anderson, Megan Anderson, and Kaylynn Klingler.

Velma joins her parents, her daughter, Tammy, and her brother, Cletus, at their home in Heaven.

Funeral services for Velma will be at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 1500 Pleasant Valley Dr., Coshocton on Monday, June 15th, 2020 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Bran Kittner officiating.  Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.  Burial will follow in Coshocton County Memory Gardens.
