Virginia L. Geary, 70, of Coshocton passed away at Kindred Health Care of Coshocton on Thursday September 26, 2013.
Virginia was born in Coshocton to the late Lewis and Leota (Walters) Guilliams on March 8, 1943.
She was a homemaker throughout most of her life, was true to her faith and loved raising and spending time with her family.
Virginia is survived by her husband Edwin R. Geary Sr. whom she married August 15, 1959; children Latricia (Kevin) Schlarb of Coshocton, Connie (Corey) Persing of Chang Mia, Thailand, Steven “Motor” (Vicki) Geary of Fresno, Carolyn (Ben) McHugh of Fresno and Edwin (Rachel) Geary Jr. of Warsaw; nineteen grandchildren Michael (Allison) Schlarb, Valerie Young, Vanessa (Rob) Durbin, Mark Schlarb, Matthew Schlarb, Amanda Geary, Nathanial Persing, Gabrialla Persing, Ikaiasha Persing, Rachel Geary, Tyler Ridenour, Hayden Geary, Joey McHugh, Brooke McHugh, Abagail McHugh, Brianne Brown, Micha, Courtney and Jon; four great grandchildren Brad, Brandon, Duke and Breighlynn; two brothers Sam (Susan) Guilliams of Coshocton and Lewis Guilliams of FL; brother in law Elton (Elaine) Walters of Pleasant City; sisters in law Wava Schafer and Esther Geary both of Caldwell; several nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her son Jonathan Allen Geary; granddaughter Alexis Ridenour; ten brothers and sisters.
Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Monday September 30, 2013 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 11:00 AM with Pastor William Blair officiating. Interment will follow in Valley View Cemetery, Warsaw.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Calvary Chapel Bible Methodist Church, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
