Wilma Winters Newell

Wilma Winters Newell, 89, of Coshocton passed away at Coshocton County Memorial Hospital on Monday May 26, 2014.
Wilma was born in Port Royal, KY on April 1, 1925 to the late Daniel “Danny” and Cassie J. (Chisholm) Winters. She had worked at CCMH for over thirty years as a nurse’s aide.
Wilma is survived by her husband Raymond Newell; four children Shirley (Carl) McFarland of MI, Diana McClain of Mt. Vernon, April Stump of Warsaw and Jeffrey Smith of Warsaw; a sister Ada Basil of Glaskow, KY; brother Alva Winters of Louisville, KY; seventeen grandchildren and step grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her son Michael A. Smith; daughter Brenda Joyce Johnson; three brothers and four sisters.
Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Thursday May 29, 2014 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM. Funeral services for Wilma will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 11:00 AM with Pastor Wilbur White officiating. Interment will follow in Canal Lewisville Cemetery.
